I really don't understand why the activity type on the mobile app is limited to only the top level activities i.e I can only choose, 'Cycle' as an activity type instead of the type of cycle I did i.e 'Road Cycling', 'Mountain biking' in addition since on the Garmin Edge 510 I can set up my bikes, and define which bike I'm on before starting the activity, why can't the type of Activity be set in the bike settings and automatically uploaded correctly. In fact why doesn't the Edge 510 automatically detect the bike I'm riding from the Speed Cadence sensor. (I realise I'm now going somewhat beyond the scope of my request)
The main nuisance this causes now that the activities are automatically syncing to other services, is that I have to go and correct it on all the sites I'm on, Garmin Connect, Strava, Endomondo and MapyMyRide.
