Garmin Edge 800 and usb conection via usd on samsung galaxy s5 or tab3

Ok rather than buy a laptop for just storing my garmin stuff I would like to use my edge 800 and connect to my samsung tab 3 or my galaxy s5 via a usb conection. Is this possible and if so how?
