wrong distance when entering manual Swimming activity from android app

Hello,

When I create a manual swimming activity using the android app, the distance is saved wrong.

Example: If I create a manual activity, activity type is "Swimming" and the distance is 2.2 km, it is saved with the distance of 22.0 km !

I have tested this a number of times and the result is always the same, the distance I have entered will be multiplied by 10 when saving the activity.

Has anyone had this problem too ? Is it a bug, or am I just stupid ?

I will be glad to assist you. I have tried to recreate your issue using the latest version of Garmin Connect Mobile. When I save a manual swimming activity as 2.2 km it then appears correctly as 2.20 km in activities. Please try to uninstall the Garmin Connect Mobile app, restart your phone, and then download and install the current version (2.5) from the Google Play store. This should resolve the problem for you.

Hello,
Now I have uninstalled the app, restarted the phone, then downloaded and installed version 2.5.1 of the app "Garmin connect mobile".
I start the app, and supply my login credentials and then do the following:
1. Press "View All" in the "Activities"
2. Press the + sign in the Activities section ( placed in the upper right corner )
3. Now I have the "Enter Manual Activity" screen, I enter an activity name "test"
4. Choose "Swimming" as Activity Type
5. Choose a date ( in this case 14th of Oct )
6. Choose "20:00" as time
7. Choose 1 hour 0 minutes 0 seconds as Duration
8. Choose 2.2 km as distance
9. Press "Save", and the screen closes and I am back at the "Activities" screen.

But when I now look at the latest activity which is the one I just created, then the distance is set to 22.0 km in the Activities screen.
I can press the activity, and get the details, and in the default tab for the swimming activity, the distance is also 22.0 km

Strange.

I have the same problem, I have never could introduce a manual swimming activity to Garmin Connect Mobile (android) version, because that: I introduce 2,5 kms (or whatever distance) and it stores the activity as 25kms.. obviously I couldn't "trick" the activity introducing "0,xxx" since we can only introduce x,x", and the "precission" would be very poor "1km error".

Please, investigate about this problem, or let us cheat the tool alowing to introduce more decimals, in fact, it is very usual to swim activities that are not only ended in fifties.
