Every time I start the app it asks me if I have a device to connect

As the title says really! Each time I start the Garmin Connect app on my Nexus 5 it asks me if I have a device to connect as if it was setting up for the first time.

I've tried uninstalling, clearing the cache etc but it still happens each time. It didn't previously happen until I got an update a couple of weeks ago.

Is anyone else having this issue or know a way to fix it?

We've removed the nagging screen in version 2.5 (due out very soon). Sorry about that.

Yes, I have the same issue on my iPhone this morning and I'm very concerned that if I answer the "new' device questions that it will wipe out how I've had my Garmin Fenix3 configured for over 2 years.

I have the same issue on my iPhone

For iPhone problems, please check the Garmin Connect Mobile iOS forum. It may be a completely different issue than this one, over 5 years old, on the Android app.

Wow, I see that this is over 5 years old and now I have the issue. Is this a bug that has resurfaced??

Personally I do not experience any problems, so I do not quite believe that the bug resurfaced. Could you post a screenshot with the error message?

I have the same problem, each time I open the app it behaves as if it is an initial installation. I have Fenix 5S with an iPhone running IOS 13.3
