sync error

I'm loving the garmin vivofit but hating on the app. I could sync the first day I got this product with no issues, now it won't sync and comes up with a sync error. all the forums are all negative feed back and I don't want to give up, I simply just want it to work.

I tried going to the audit device thing so I could delete the day, which was recommended to another customer but when I go into the screen there aren't any days for me to delete.

I'm getting really frustrated and I feel that my next option is to get my money back.
