Activity in history in Forerunner 620 not syncing uploading to Garmin Connect

I have an activity (run) that I can view in the history of my Forerunner 620 and the sync didn't throw up Amy error message yet it won't show in activities in my Garmin Connect account. Subsequent test uploads same day (today) upload OK. I'm desperate to get this particular run up on my account. Any clues???
  • I have the same issue on my 410, I did a ride Saturday and Sunday but it only loads the Sunday ride, very keen to find out how to get this loaded up to connect but clueless at the minute?

    Sync error on 320

I have a similar problem only worse. Everything was working fine, then today I save an activity and wait for it to sync. Butthe Garmin Connect on the iPhone threw an error when syncing. So the activity is not on Garmin connect. I tried re-booting both devices etc - still did not work. When I create other activities to test all new activities since the first one that threw an error and did not sync also do the same thing. I then tried syncing through a wire just to be sure through Garmin Express. I also got a sync error trying that.. I have internet connection on all the deiThis is really flaky. There are no error codes, I have searched on the site to see if there is documentation on how to deal with errors. This is really terrible service. GArmin should at least provide error codes and some tools to trouble shoot. I do not even know if deleting activities (which I do not want to do) will help.:mad::mad:

    same here. no activity visible
  • anyone with a solution? did 3 runs today and only the 1st and 3rd run were synced to Garmin Connect, for some reason the 2nd one just won't even though it shows up in the watch... tried both Bluetooth sync and USB sync and both failed

for now i'd have to manually import the file from the watch to Garmin Connect

Has anyone come up with a solution or any ideas? I had the same issue with my Forerunner 410. I have been using Garmin Forerunners since the 301 and never encountered this problem. Just one day (run) last week will not sync though it shows in my device's history. Any ideas (other than manually entering the activity)?
  • I had the same problem, after my last sync one activity didn't appear on Garmin Connect, even though I can see it in the history on the watch. Really annoying, but I found out it's really simple to upload the activity manually. When the watch (forerunner 620) is connected to the computer through USB, I'll just open it in finder (I'm on iOS), and inside the "Garmin/ACTIVITY" folder, every activity is stored seperatly as a ".fit" file. And once I found the correct file here by just looking at the "Date modified" time, it was really simple to import it on the activities page on Garmin Connect (http://connect.garmin.com/modern/activities), via the "Import" link.
  • I have the same problem, but if I try to upload manually it wants to format the device first, which will surely erase the activity I'm trying to upload. Using Windows 7. I think it may be time to change watch brands.

I had the same issue... tried everything. Had to come back a couple of days later, tried to synch again and no luck. Then found the "Force Send" option - selected yes - and 2 runs that previously wouldn't load got loaded. (this was on a 410)
  • I has a similar issue. I managed to get the route to upload to Garmin Connect by using the Import option within the Activities pages to manual upload the tcx file from C:\Users\<PC user account>\AppData\Roaming\Garmin\Devices\<device_id>\Garmin Connect\Pending Uploads\ This was for a 410 on Windows 8.1
