Crash on start

Device: Nexus 5
Android: 4.4.4

Yesterday I received my new vivofit and it was working nice. Additionally I'm using an Edge 810 and a FR 620 with the app.

When I tried to sync in the morning (eager to see how the sleeping is tracked) it didn't actually do anything. When I try to start the app, it displays some of the widgets but before I can really see anything useful it crashes (without user input). At first I thought it's because of the vivofit, but then I saw that last night version 2.2.2 was installed. And there is already a comment in the Android Market that somebody has the same issue using a FR 220.

  • Anybody else having this problem?
  • Any ideas what I can do? The vivofit is more or less useless without cloud integration.
  • I think the problem is in the Weight or the Badges widget. When I add those, it keeps crashing on starting up. When I don't add those after reinstalling, the app will start up and work normally.
Too bad I want the Weight widget showing on it.

Can confirm that the Android app crashes after adding the Weight widget. Before the update, entering weight didn't work using the app, had to do it on the Web.
