Calories widget

The calorie widget is a great new feature. It links the calories consumed recorded in myfitnesspal fine. H

However it does not recognise the calories as exercise or active recorded in garmin or myfitnesspal. How come?

Connect doesn't seem to be talking with MAP at all for me the last few days. Calories aren't flowing to connect and my activity isn't flowing to MAP. Frustrated.
