Garmin Connect ver 2.2 for Android doesn't sync with Fenix 2

Just posted this in the Fenix 2 forum, not sure if I should be posting here instead.

Garmin Connect ver 2.2 on a Motorola Droid Maxx (Android ver 4.4) and Fenix 2 firmware version 3.2. Recorded a new activity on the Fenix and started a manual sync. Managed to establish a Bluetooth connection (Fenix shows as connected in Garmin Connect). Garmin Connect says "syncing with Fenix 2" and Fenix says "sync in progress", but then it gets stuck. After about 5 minutes Garmin Connect gives up and says "sync upload error" and drops the Bluetooth connection. Then it tries to re-establish the connection and sync again, but the same thing happens. Fenix 2 just says "sync in progress" throughout all of this.

    Same here. LG G2,
  • Clear the files in the activity folder taken with a fw before 3.30 and try it again.
  • 2.2.1 is the current version of Garmin Connect Mobile... A noticeable difference perhaps?

Same here. Latest connect version + Latest Fenix 2 firmware + LG Nexus 5.
    What to do??
  • Clear the files in the activity folder taken with a fw before 3.30 and try it again.

Guys I have a fenix 2 paired with nexus 4. had the same problem, syncing than error and start all over in a infinite loop. I followed Volkte advice, connected the watch to the computer, deleted all the activities from the folder and tried syncing again with a new activity. It worked flawlessly!

Do you have to repair each time? My Nexus 4 refuses to remember my Fenix, so I end up receiving a pairing attempt request each time I attempt to sync. It's a major hassel.
  • I have the same pairing issue with a Moto X. I have to enter the pairing code each time I want to sync.
