Tapping a name in the search results page immediately sends a "request". I expected it to show more information for that person, as it does on the web site (both "classic" and "modern"). I expected tapping only on the plus icon "+", to send a request. Also, press-and-hold, a common Android UI pattern, doesn't provide any options.
There also doesn't seem to be a way undo it, once a request is sent.
Please consider changing the interaction so tapping a person shows more info about them, tapping the "+" sends a request, and press-n-hold shows a both actions (plus any more you add in the future). Also consider providing undo for this action. It could just be a transient message similar to what Google Now does when you swipe a card away. On a touch device, apps need to be forgiving! :)
Thanks!
