Fenix 2 - Android

Can anyone from Garmin give an update on the status for the Fenix 2 and the Android compatibility? last communication was in March saying "we are working on it" but would like to know if you still "working on it" and if you have any idea on when will you have a solution for this. its been 3 months since i bought the fenix 2 and im still waiting. This is VERY frustrating! the main reason why i changed my 910tx to fenix 2 was to be able to upload my sessions through Bluetooth...

Thanks,
RP
  • Same here... this is extremely disappointing to purchase a high end fitness watch only to find zero support with no estimated release date. Garmin, you have really suckered a lot of people into buying your product based on the use of the Bluetooth/Ant+ support. You owe us a better explanation and release date.

    Fenix 2 - Android

I'm following up on this thread: https://forums.garmin.com/showthread.php?89724-Fenix-2-Android
Trailtech: you can close all the threads you want and give that stupid link with the "official" update. But you are not answering the questions.

We want to know an ESTIMATE. This is THE feature I decided to by the Fenix2 vs the Suunto; it was the factor that tilted the balance. When I got it, the estimate was March, then, suddenly you guys just changed your plans.

It looks like it was a typical BAIT and SWITCH tactic. You DO OWE US and explanation and the truth. Is it comming this month, next year, is it not comming? This is what we want, and answer to this, so we can make an informed decision of just deal with it, return it and get something else, etc, etc.

Please READ the message and understand it. DO NOT close this thread with your usual "official" link which we all know, is useless and just puts more fuel to the fire.

What I have been told is "soon". It's probably not what you want to hear, but it's all I know. By now, you probably know the link to the official post.
