After the recent update of the Android app, I'm not able to connect my Forerunner 220 via bluetooth with Garmin connect app 2.1.2 on Nexus 5. Please help urgently!

    Did you try the following:

Set Bluetooth to ON on both the NX5 and the FR220.
    Turn OFF the FR220.
Open Garmin Connect app on NX5 and then kill it (taskmanager-button next to home button and swipe GCM out of the list).
Turn on FR220 and wait until boot finished.
Open GCM again, go to the Devices Tab and your watch should sync.

I just did the same procedure and it worked for me (NX5 & FR220). It's a shame Garmin software devs aren't capable of putting together a proper working app.
Tell me if this did help you!

I've had issues with the same combination since purchase in july, 2014. Either it won't connect or it won't sync 😢 well, sometimes it works, sometimes not.
