Android Garmin Connect version 2.1 gives UNKNOWN_EXCEPTION on show all activities

The last few updates have not been able to show me activities, with the above message. This is on an HTC One M7 running stock Android 4.4.2 (version 4.19.401.11)

    I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this error when trying to view your activities within Garmin Connect Mobile. Please try the following troubleshooting suggestions at your earliest convenience:

    **Please check to ensure that you have the latest version of Garmin Connect Mobile installed and that you're running the latest version of Android for your device.**

    1. Sign OUT and back IN to the GCM app. (Within the app, Tap Home > Settings > Sign Out > Confirm "Sign Out", then Sign In again.
    2. Reboot your Android phone.
    3. If the issue persists, Uninstall/Reinstall the GCM app completely and try again.

    Please let me know if you continue experiencing this issue once the above troubleshooting steps are taken. Also, give me an idea of how many activities you have in your account--just in case. Thank you!

    I had this problem so I followed the above instructions and now I can't login at all with the error message "a problem occured while attempting to sign into Garmin Connect"

    This error message does not give any clues as to the issue. I have tried reinstalling.. rebooting.. checked password etc...

    All still fail :(

    Please help garmin support.
