min/km instead of km/h

On my android app the speed chart is shown in min/km.
How can I change this to km/h?
Thanks in advance.
  • What model Garmin device are you using? What type of Activity is this? Are you using any sensors?

I have the same question. I am using the garmin forerunner 220, gps and/or footpod. This is for running activities, where on the full website I can switch between min/km and km/hr, but on the android app I only get pace come up and no way to view km/hr.

It would be absolutely amazing also if I could see an overlay of time vs distance - I can only do that in classic mode on the website :(
  • Ahoy hoy Garmin? Any chance of a response this year please? :)

Same here. I have the Garmin Fenix and as a speedsurfer I would like to review the MAX SPEED in km/h of the activities on site after the activity save. If I go to the menu Fit History on the watch, it only shows me the average speed. One solution would be to upload the activity with my android phone and view it in the Garmin Connect app on my phone, but that only shows the speed in min/km. Do I really need access to a computer to view the Garmin Connect website so I can see my MAX SPEED in km/h?

I noticed that if I change the activity type to Cycling the values change from pace to km/h. As far as I know that is the only activity I can select that changes the value. Garmin can't be serious that all the other activities are usually measured in min/km?! The pc version of Garmin Connect at least has the option to change between pace and speed.
  • I have the same problem, I want to see KM/H not MIN/KM and want to see how fast I run also in KM/H
    Looks like it's not possible?

    I have a vivoactive 3 music

Depends where. On the watch self, you can usually customize the data screens in the way you want, but I am not familiar with Vivoactive 3. Check out the User Manual, if you do not know whether you can customize the Activity screens, and how.

As for the phone app GC Mobile, it shows both - the pace (min/km) as well as the speed (km/h) - look at the second tab of the activity.

And in Garmin Connect Web, you can toggle between the Pace and Speed modes at every activity.

You can also temporarily change the activity type from Run to Bike, if you wish the default mode in speed. Pace is the standard for running.

  • Yes I could just add speed. I thought speed and pace was the same, it must be my limited English.

    Thanks mate! Grin
