Live Track Social Settings (Share on Facebook) are not being saved

Every time I go into LiveTrack my setting for sharing on Facebook is reset to Off. It should remember what I set last time and save that setting. It's a pain to have to remember to turn Facebook sharing on each time.

Also - Live Track maps aren't rendering properly. I'll to look at where to report that. On all browsers the maps don't render with any usability except for a small square around the current location.

In the current version of the app (v2.0.1) the previously used LiveTrack settings in Garmin Connect Mobile should be retained between uses unless you sign out/in of your account in the app, update the app, or clear the cache for the app. Can you please confirm if any of these are being done when this occurs?

With regard to the LiveTrack map issue on the website, please direct this question to the general Garmin Connect site forum linked below, as it has more to do with the website than the app:

No I stay logged in, haven't updated the App lately, nor have I cleared the Cache. The Facebook setting keeps returning to No from Yes.

I also don't have any programs running on my phone that are analogous to cookie cleaners on regular browsers, so that's not it.

I think I found the other thread to report the website error.

CAHILLR is correct, the setting should be retained between uses, as long as the data remains in the cache.

It sounds as if a third-party app of some sort (or even the Android OS itself, though not as likely) is clearing the app's cache in the background and causing the app to lose the temporary data used for that setting. However, the only way to verify this would be to factory reset the phone, reinstall the app, and test for this issue with no other third-party apps installed.

We have only been able to recreate the issue in-house by manually clearing the app's cache in the Android settings or intentionally signing out/in of the account in the app itself.
