Hi everyone,
I’ve noticed a strange issue with the “Stress and Sleep” data on my Garmin (vivoactive 6, latest software via automatic update), and it has happened several times now.
The stress graph during the night is almost entirely blue and mostly seems to be somewhere around 10–20, with only a single, very short orange spike. However, Garmin rates the night as “Poor” and gives me an average stress level of 30.
I don’t understand how an average of 30 could possibly result from the values. Visually, the data looks much lower than that for almost the entire night.
This isn’t a one-off issue either, I’ve had this happen repeatedly, at least once a week, where the reported average sleep stress doesn’t seem to match the graph at all.
Has anyone else noticed this? Is this a known bug, or is Garmin calculating the average using some additional data that isn’t shown in the graph?
Thanks!
