LIVE 2-way sync workouts (Hevy style)

Hi there,

I'm enjoying my Fenix 9 Pro Solar so far, though I can't shake how with Strava starting to integrate weight-training/strength workouts the past 6 or so months, that Garmin isn't supporting apps like Hevy, or at least creating a new app for 2-way synchronization of gym-style workout routines, and their workout flow.

Hevy utilizes a proper companion app system that provides LIVE parity between the wearable and smartphone, so you can conveniently modify your workout, and/or simply toggle completed sets, fast-adjust reps, or quickly modify your rest time on your watch for more simple tasks for your workout flow.

Is there still no plans on integrating such features? I was really enjoying my Ticwatch Pro 3 Ultra GPS until the battery finally died as of recently. It's Hevy companion app worked amazingly and dare I say intuitively for me during my gym workouts. This is something that makes me want to buy a backup watch just for gym workouts, which is an odd ask for how otherwise robust the Fenix 9 is supposed to be accommodating for.

Would appreciate Garmin and community feedback to bring me up to speed. Very disappointed as winter time is my gym/crosstraining phase of my physical health yearly lifecycle, between running.

  • Young men in gyms can deal with "more friction than it's worth" to make the gym function better for all. ( a fun scientific study would be if gains could be compared between young men doing a strength routine from knowledge and memory and a watch, compared with those who spend significant time during the workout scrolling.)

Again, let me repeat, I know I am in a 100% losing argument and I have no belief whatsoever that anything is going to happen to change these people sitting on the machines in the gym scrolling. I get it. I am going to step down now. Enjoy the day everyone.
