I have been using a Garmin Fenix 6 Pro for about six years without any connection or synchronization issues on my previous smartphone (a Redmi device running MIUI). Since switching to a new smartphone — Xiaomi X15T Pro running HyperOS 3.0.336.0 — I can no longer maintain a stable pairing between the watch and the phone.
Here is the exact behavior:

The initial pairing works correctly.

Synchronization also works as long as the Garmin Connect app stays open in the foreground.

As soon as I close Garmin Connect or it moves to the background, the Bluetooth connection to the Fenix 6 Pro is immediately lost.

The watch does not reconnect automatically.

I must manually re‑pair the watch every time I want to sync data.

This happens consistently and is fully reproducible.
I have already checked and configured all available settings on HyperOS:

Garmin Connect is set to “No restrictions” in the battery/power management menu.

“Interruption when unused” is disabled.

All available permissions (location, nearby devices, notifications) are enabled.

There is no Auto‑Start option on this device.

There is no “Protection of apps”, “Close apps after lock”, or “Bluetooth special permissions” menu on HyperOS 3.

The Bluetooth device entry for the Fenix 6 only exposes “Contacts and call history”, nothing related to location or BLE permissions.
It seems that HyperOS 3 restricts Bluetooth LE background activity for third‑party apps, preventing Garmin Connect from maintaining the connection once the app is not visible.
Could you please confirm whether this issue is known and whether Garmin is working with Xiaomi to address it?
