August/Sept Steps Podium challenge ending Sept 6, 2026 not awarded challenge points. Why?

There are, occasionally, skipped weeks where they run over the end/start of a month.

The description of the challenge tells, which weeks count:

The Step Challenge runs continuously, meaning you only join it once, and after that it automatically renews until you explicitly opt out. Based on my experience so far, there’s a badge every week that’s worth 2 points. However, you can only earn the badge once a month.

We’re talking about the badge for the period from August 31 to September 6. So it starts in August and should count toward August.

It doesn’t make sense to pause a continuously badge sporadically. To me, this seems to be nothing more than a glitch.

We had the same thing happen between the April and May Steps Podium Challenges so it is not new.

Maybe Garmin just want it to be 4 weeks long. We've had 5 week long Podium challenges a few times in the past so it isn't a general rule.
