Garmin Connect Version 5.27.3 stuck on loading screen

Today I started having serious issues with the Garmin Connect app. It won't load past the black screen with the "Connect" text on it. The app has been working great up till now. Current version is 5.27.3.

I tried everything possible, including deleting cache, deleting storage, uninstalling and reinstalling the app, deleting the Play Store's cache and updates, then reupdating. Restarted the phone multiple times. Nothing works. Have a Google Pixel 6 Pro with latest Android OS version.

My wife has an identical phone and has the exact same issue. Bummer.

Besides speaking directly to the Support, you can try installing an older version of Connect from apkmirror.com, disable the app auto-updates, and occasionally try installing a new version manually, to see whether the problem is gone.

Thank you for the advice. Since the time I posted the app has been working sporadically. It takes quite a long time to load or to open an activity, but it does work. Garmin IQ also takes longer than normal to load.

Sounds like a network problem somewhere between you and Garmin's servers. I do not experience any unusual delays in these days, and I also did not see other reports signaling it. You can also check the status at https://connect.garmin.com/status/ - it shows you whether there is a problem on Garmin's side.
