I own three bicycles:
Road race bike
Time Trial bike
Commuter bike
Each bicycle has its own Gear Collection containing its chain, cassette and service items.
Current behavior:
If I assign "Road Cycling" as the default activity to the components, Garmin Connect automatically adds components from multiple bikes to the same activity.
If I remove the default activity from the components, the correct bike is detected, but none of the components from its Gear Collection are assigned automatically.
Expected behavior: Once an activity is assigned to a bike (or a Gear Collection), Garmin Connect should automatically assign only the components that belong to that bike or Gear Collection.
Components should inherit the bike assignment. Users should not have to manually add chains, cassettes or service items after every ride.
The current implementation makes Gear Collections impractical for users who own multiple bicycles.
