Additional Garmin Nutrition features

I know I am not the first person to request this, but wanted to ask when we might be able to log food in Garmin Nutrition by grams rather than 100g increments. It isn't too much effort to 0.1 servings for 10g, but it seems ridiculous we can't just put in the weight in grams. 

I would also like to be able to add food that the barcode scanner doesn't find to the database, like you can in Cronometer. 

Have Garmin published a log of future planned changes? Will we ever see the Nutrition app improved?

I pay for Garmin Connect, but if Nutrition continues to not improve then I will switch back to Cronometer and cancel my subscription.
