Dear Garmin Team,
I would like to suggest adding foam roller and lacrosse ball exercises for myofascial release to Garmin Connect and compatible Garmin devices.
Many users include myofascial release as part of their recovery, mobility, flexibility, injury-prevention, and post-training routines. It would be very helpful if Garmin could include these exercises in the strength, mobility, stretching, or recovery exercise library, allowing users to properly track them as part of their workouts.
Some useful examples could include:
- Foam roller exercises:
Foam rolling for calves
Foam rolling for quadriceps
Foam rolling for hamstrings
Foam rolling for glutes
Foam rolling for IT band area
Foam rolling for upper back / thoracic spine
Foam rolling for lats
Foam rolling for adductors
- Lacrosse ball exercises:
Lacrosse ball release for plantar fascia
Lacrosse ball release for calves
Lacrosse ball release for glutes / piriformis
Lacrosse ball release for hip flexors
Lacrosse ball release for upper back
Lacrosse ball release for shoulders
Lacrosse ball release for chest / pectorals
Lacrosse ball release for forearms
Adding these options would make Garmin’s training ecosystem more complete, especially for users who combine strength training, running, cycling, mobility work, and recovery routines.
Thank you for considering this feature request.
