I see Garmin has finally added default gear for different activity types, but one missing is Cycling Commute - I have a bike specifically for commuting and would like to select that as default as well.

You can always submit this request directly to our team of innovators for future consideration at Garmin.com/ideas.
And the bike tour as well.
I came here to post the same thing. Lots of people likely use a different bike for commuting than training.
Hopefully not another 8 years before this gets added.
Yea big positive surprise, seems everything is possible now. Even photos, seems they just gave us every feature ever requested for gear.
Only thing that is typical Garmin is that it does not work (yet) "An error has occurred, try again". Maybe it was intended as a Connect+ feature and they forgot to lable it.
