Garmin Connect+ Nutrition is missing many text elements

Problem: Many text elements within the Nutrition section of Garmin Connect Android are blank, making Nutrition unusable from mobile. This is true whether or not I change the food region language to English or Japanese. In fact, in the list of languages, the selection for Japanese is also blank! I also tried changing the food region to the US with language combinations of English (US), English (Canada), and Japanese. In all cases, text elements are missing. This issue appears only within Nutrition and no other areas of the Connect app.

    I'm having exactly the same problem! Pixel 8a, also running GrapheneOS. 

    I just installed the latest app update today (5.20.1) and it made no difference. Also tried clearing the app storage, didn't help. 

    I only signed up for the Connect+ trial after the nutrition feature was released, and noticed I also can't get the yearly rundown thing to work. It plays a little tune and shows my profile name+icon but then doesn't do anything else. 

    Edit: I also tried completely removing and reinstalling the app since clearing the storage didn't seem to wipe the whole configuration, this also didn't help.


    As with the OP the rest of the app is completely fine.

    Are you also running GrapheneOS?

    Everything looks fine on my Pixel 6 Pro with standard Android 16.
