Edge Connection/Connection Lost notifications since last update

Since the latest GCM Android update, whenever I turn my edge ON/OFF I'm getting device connection/connection lost notifications on my phone even though device communication notifications are disabled.

I think they are being generated by the Bike Alarm Notification Category but the Bike Alarm isn't active on my device or in GCM.

Anyone else seeing this?

Yes, super annoying. Today I was running back to bike parking because I've got notification about connection lost and last known position in this bike parking. I was sure I left it there. Of course the device was safe in my backpack and this stupid alarm just told me I turned it off.

Bummer at least it was safe.

The only way to disable it is to block all notifications from GCM in the Android settings . Even with notifications enabled but all notification categories turned off I still get the notification . Not exactly an ideal fix & it really needs addressing

Disabling all Push notifications in the GCM App doesn't stop it either
