Reduce number of taps / "clicks" to change alarm times (14??!)

Why does it take *FOURTEEN* steps to change and confirm alarm time?!?

From home screen:

  1. Tap watch icon in top right corner
  2. Select watch from device list (??)
  3. Tal Alarms
  4. Edit
  5. Select alarm to edit
  6. Tap alarm time to edit (??)
  7. Change time
  8. Ok
  9. Back button
  10. Back button again
  11. Back button again
  12. Back button again
  13. Back button again
  14. Finally arruve back at home screen and see sync confirmed with watch

This is an extremely high friction user experience for what should be an extremely basic function of an actual *time keeping device.*

One of the main reasons i have a smart watch is to be able to wake up just when i want every morning without waking my partner. Having to go through 14 steps to change something so basic is really irritating.

It should be something you can set directly on the watch and also from the home page of the app via a couple taps.  Please make the alarm user experience less annoying.

  • You did not tell which watch model you have, but on my watch (Instinct 3), I can change the alarm slightly easier:

    1. Clocks Hot Key (hold the BACK button, in my case)
    2. Confirm Alarms (or select and confirm in not already pre-selected)
    3. Press Menu (middle left button)
    4. Confirm Edit (START button)
    5. Select the alarm you want to edit (if not already preselected)
    6. Change the time
    7. Confirm
    8. Back out to the main screen - the quickest way is by a Hot Key for the main watchface. For me, re-using the Clock hotkey (hold BACK) and another short press of BACK is working quickly enough too.
  • Lilly Classic. Your advice does not apply.

8 steps would still be annoying to me.

  • Bookmark the device web page and then use that. Then you can just click the bookmark and you will get to the alarms page.

    1. Click the bookmark.
    2. Change the time for the alarm you want to change.
    3. Click Save Changes
