Walk streak and 30 for 30 badges out of sync

I have been taking part in the 1 mile badge and 30 for 30. Often walking for 30 plus minutes which kills two birds etc.

However in November, I noticed the 1 mile badge progress was 1 below the 30 for 30.

Garmin boffins claim this is normal as the two badges are can't be tracked at the same time.

Except for the past year they have been. Also now, my walk yesterday and today has not recorded on the 1 mile badge.

Anyone have suggestions are experienced the same.

Attached are photos to show when badges have been rewarded in the past that prove what garmin are saying is rubbish.

Did you record a walk of at least 1 mile on 18th November?

Yeah. Should have posted those pics today. But if you also look at when the 30 for 30 was in December, on 16th, that's 29 days. So some how the 30 for badge as been awarded with only 29 activities.

Garmin refuse to see this or accept is.

At least earlier sometimes you have been awarded with the badge and then that last day has been counted as the first day for the next badge. So, I would say that it has been a known issue for a long time. I don't know if Garmin has made any fixes to the issue

Obviously not.

But why just do it for December. When every other month they have been in sync. And now it's not recorded my walk yesterday of over a mile.

If you don't get a progress update you can try making a small change to the activity and saving it again. I usually add 1 kcal. That will trigger an update for all badges.

That hasn't worked. It's not counted by last 2 walks. Which is now another issue.

The main be that since Jan I have done 30 mins of activity and walked a mile a day.

But garmin has awarded the badges on different dates in December. The help desk claim this isn't possible even with the evidence and now walks are not counting at all
