garmin app will not pair with my watch

I have followed all instructions. The Garmin Connect app finds my Fenix 6 sapphire and I put the watch into pairing mode, but it will not complete the pairing action.

I have tried this on my Android and iPhone, and in both cases the App will not complete the pairing process.

I have reinstalled software on both devices.

Did you remove the watch from the list of BT devices in Android or iOS settings before every pairing attempt from within Garmin Connect? The failure to do it will prevent the successful paring.
