Garmin Connect Version 5.19 crashes regularly. There is a new problem with the Garmin Connect App Version 5.19! The app crashes as soon as I go to the Newsfeed and want to like or comment on a post. It also crashes when I want to view or read the Newsfee

I've just Liked and added a Message to a friends activity on Connect 5.19 and it worked OK. 

Pixel 8 Pro/Android 16. 

That suggests that it could be something specific with your configuration.

Have you tried clearing the cache, deleting the app and re-installing?

Same problem here, also on a Samsung, also on UI 8. Clearing the cache does not fix it…  would be frustrating to have to reinstall, so will wait to hear if that’s necessary, or if it needs a fix in the app.

Good morning                                                                                                                                                                              I was able to solve the problem by going to the Android system under Apps >> Garmin Connect; Storage: Clear cache and delete data. After that, I had to log in again to the Garmin Connect app, and afterwards the Connect app worked smoothly again. Viewing and liking as well as posting comments has so far worked perfectly in the newsfeed.A two-time uninstallation with subsequent reinstallation was not successful. Even just clearing the cache alone was not successful.So: clearing the cache and deleting data followed by re-login was the solution. I hope the problem does not occur again and Garmin releases a cleaned-up new Garmin Connect version.

Ich konnte das Problem lösen indem ich unter dem Android System unter Apps>>Garmin Connect; Speicherplatz: Cache leeren und Daten löschen angeklickt habe. Anschließend musste ich mich neu in der Garmin Connect App anmelden und danach lief die Connect App wieder sauber. Das Ansehen und Liken sowie die Abgabe von Kommentare funktioniert bisher einwandfrei in den Newsfeed.

Eine 2 malige Deinstallation mit anschließender Neuinstallation hat keinen Erfolg gehabt. Auch das "Nur" löschen des Cache war nicht erfolgreich.

Also: Cache leeren und Daten löschen mit anschließender Neuanmeldung war die Lösung.                                                 

Ich hoffe das Problem taucht nicht wieder auf und Garmin bringt eine bereinigte neue Garmin Connect Version.

Unfortunately, I was too optimistic. The Garmin app in this version worked properly for almost 9 hours today. Now it crashes again with the same symptoms as before. Reading, liking, or commenting in the news feed is not possible. The Connect app repeatedly returns to the homepage or crashes completely.
I am now fed up with Garmin and the Connect app and give up.
Garmin no longer deserves to be supported. I have 5 Garmin watches; these were my last ones.

Leider zu früh gefreut.Die Garmin App in Version hat heute fast 9 Stunden ordnungsgemäß funktioniert. Jetzt stüzt sie wieder ab mit den gleichen Symtome wie zuvor. Ein Lesen, Liken oder Kommentieren in den Newsfeed ist nicht möglich. Die Connect App schaltet wieder und wieder zur Startseite oder schmiert ganz ab.
Ich habe jetzt die Schnauze von Garmin und der Connect App voll und gebe mit auf. 
Garmin hat es nicht weiter verdient gefördert zu werden. Ich habe 5 Garmin Watches, das waren meine letzten.

Conclusion: Garmin Connect no longer crashes, and that's a good thing.

Fazit: Garmin Connect stürzt nicht mehr ab, und das ist gut so.
