I noticed that notifications stopped working under connect 5.18. to resolve this I installed an old version from apkmirror (very 5.1) and notifications work under that version. Looks like a potential bug in the latest version of connect which has removed access to notification widget & music control. This is on a pixel pro 7 under android 16
