Hello,
The Lifestyle Tracking is a step in the right direction but lacks many very basic user friendly/intuitive functionality before it can be trusted.
1) After adding a Custom Behavior, it's impossible to edit it or even view how it was configured. As such, I can't rename it if there was a typo, and can't see whether I said 'Daytime' or 'Sleep related' when creating the event
2) The only resolution to the above is to delete the Custom Behavior and remake it. The only way to delete is a 'swipe to delete' function, which is great.. BUT as far as I can tell, this logic of interaction doesn't exist anywhere else within the Garmin connect app. This will lead a statistically consequential number of users to be frustrated by not being able to find the option.
3) Creating a Custom Behaviour and clicking 'Save' doesn't actually Save the custom behaviour. If you swipe back to exit the 'edit behaviours' pages, it deletes what lever you created. Items only get saved if you instead click the 'back' button in the upper left of the app. Not intuitive. Very frustrating.
4) Limited options for custom make Lifestyle Tracking impractical or non functional where it could really shine. The 'Custom Behaviour' création really needs the option to add a note. Example: Say I want to track pain in my sleep and during the day. Common pain areas are cervical spine, thoracic spine, lumbar spine, left should girdle, right should girdle. Additionally I want to track paresthesia in my extremities (left arm, right arm, lower left leg/foot, lower right leg/foot) .
With the current implement of Custom Behaviour, I'll need to create upwards of 20 Custom Behaviours to track, and then additional ones if anything happens outside of those selections.
What should be possible? 'I experienced pain while sleeping' set to 'yes', and then being given the option to add a note or select from a list of options I set.
5) Currently the options are to track behaviour timing as 'Daytime' or Sleeping'. When actually doing the Logging, it categories items as 'Daytime' and then 'Nighttime'.
The terminology should be more unified/consistent and bluntly unambiguous. 'Nighttime' should be changed to something like 'Last night', 'Last nights sleep', or similar so there's no doubt that we're adding logging to something in the past VS the current evening, which could apply for things like 'wearing ear plugs', 'shared bed', and the many other logging options that could be known in advance of the sleep.
Thanks for the consideration. I've personally been waiting for this feature for a long time (8 years?). Hopefully it doesn't take that long for the features to be refined.
