For the last few months I have had my step goal set to an Auto Goal, which has worked really well, adjusting the goal up and down a bit each day. When I've been very active the goal keeps rising daily until it gets higher than I can attain. When the weather, illness or injury has prevented me from doing much the goal has dropped by a few hundred each day until I can again attain the goal. However, 5 days ago my goal leapt from 10,170 (which I beat by 22%) to 17,850 the next day! I haven't been able to do that many steps since 30 August, so why did the goal jump by over 75% in one day? Worse still, I have an injured knee and cannot even manage 10,000 steps in a day, but the goal has so far only dropped to 16,430. I've tried putting in a manual goal, then back to Auto and it stays at 16430. I've restarted the watch (Venu3) and the app on my phone. I've even uninstalled the phone app and reinstalled. It makes no difference. The auto goal still remains way out of reach at 16430. Is it just a coincidence that our clocks had switched to Daylight Saving at exactly the same time the new target jumped up by over 75%? Is this a known bug?
After 2 more days the goal has managed to drop to 13,700, so in a few days time it should get back down to something I can aim for, but it has been very frustrating.
