Voice prompts not working, Garmin 965

Hi, I'm having a problem with audio prompts on my Garmin 965.i've updated to the latest Garmin connect mobile app and the latest watch software, and my audio prompts have stopped,. Most frustrating!RageRage

I've deleted and reinstalled Garmin connect mobile and also reinstalled the latest watch software, with no success. Is anybody else having problems? Thanks

    I don't think so, I have a 7Pro which is running mostly same SW as 7s.

    Any software manufacturer that does not keep their software current for last years  models, does not deserve to be in the business!!!!

    Ok Garmin, your version 18 did not fix the problem, next version please....

    je confirme cela ne marche pas non plus chez moi, en revanche si le telephone est allumé j'entend le son de l'invite vocal.

    I had a request to upload a Garmin connect log, five days ago. So they can investigate further. It is so frustrating, when everything works fine on earlier software. Garmin 965 and OnePlus 12

    Same here: logs and videos uploaded of the bug, compared to the working version 5.16.2.
    They came back with an statement that it likely will be fixed mid-late November.


    Till that time I'll be sticking with version 5.16.2

    I tried with ver 5.19. Now it works on my Garmin 955.

    BTW, I also tried to connect the ble earphone with 955 directly. And I can get native language voice prompt with low quality. But it is in Chinese Male as I selected. This can be a workaround.

    I installed this version too. Will test this in the next few days.
    Let's hope they managed to fix it this time for good (without) breaking other functionality.

    Any interesting developement.  I found in my emails this  morning an interesting email from Garmin advertising what lookes like a new version of Garmin Connect or a push regarding their new features now in connect.  No download links but a typical advertising blub from a retailer who might be about to release a new version of an existing product or its as mentioned above release in mid November with hopefully a working audio feature.  Something might be about to happen.  My Samsung update still showing the latest android garmin connect update, which would have been the latest ver 17, dated 15 October, still being the latest update version.  I will be watching for a November date to appear with perhpas a new version or our fix.
