Have this issues with Garmin Connect Mobile Android on Oneplus 13 (don't have another phone to test)
Some time random when click on the notifications received by Garmin Connect, browsing the app all good when try to get back back..it will normally exit the app...some times it's getting back and forth and cannot exit the app by the back button, only use the home button or close the app proof video below, we need a fix asap
