Bad quality of garmin connect profile photo

Today I decided to put my own photo in Garmin Connect profile for the first time and found that after uploading the photos start to look terrible. The quality drops to pixel level. What is the problem?

The avatar photo is stored as a 300×300 pixels PNG file, so you could try cropping and resizing the original to this dimension, storing in the PNG file format, and uploading anew. The chances that the system won't optimize and reduce the image quality will be higher, in this way. If you do not know how to do it, post the original here, and we can try to do it for you.
