Watch is connected but calls and notifications don't work

Dear All,

I have just bough a garmin vivomove HR (a quite old model) and I connected successfully to my motorola smartphone running android 14. I can see the steps syncing nicely with the app. I can even use the find my device without any problem. However, and this is driving me crazy, when I receive calls of whatsapp messages I don't get these sent to my watch. Can you help me please?

Do you get the notifications on the phone?

Are the notifications enabled for those apps in Garmin Connect?

Hi there

Thanks for your reply. I can see the notifications on the phone. The instructions you sent me made me realize that when I tap on device settings and then Notification and Alert the only thing I see is Move Alert and no Smart Notifications anywhere, see attached picture My watch doesn't seem to have the focus mode. It has a do not disturb mode which is off. Thanks for the help

Try going here in the app: From the Home page click More > Settings > Notifications > App Notifications

Is everything enabled there?

Yes. Everything is enabled there. I should receive notifications for everything.
