Tactix 7 AMOLED Call and SMS notifications stopped working

Hi,

I have a Garmin Tactix 7 AMOLED, model A04597 (IC 1792A A04597, FCC ID IPH A04597) running software version 22.06.
I am using it with a Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra which is fully updated with the latest Android OS and the latest version of Garmin Connect.

Until a few days ago I was receiving incoming call notifications and SMS notifications on the watch without any issues. Suddenly they stopped showing up.

I am not sure exactly when the watch was updated to the current version because my updates are set to automatic.

Here is what I have already tried:

• Restarted both the watch and the phone
• Checked that all notification permissions are enabled in Garmin Connect and in my phone settings
• Confirmed in Bluetooth settings that calls and messages are allowed for the device
• Disconnected and paired the watch again through Garmin Connect
• Made sure Incoming Calls and SMS are enabled in the Smart Notifications settings
• Verified that Do Not Disturb is turned off
• Updated Garmin Connect to the latest version from the app store

Even after all of this the notifications are still not appearing on the watch.
Could this be related to the recent software update and what else can I try
