Cycling FTP widget

For a while now my Cycling FTP widget still shows cross country ski power with no FTP for the last year. I do not cross country ski and that activity has its own data and widget for FTP. Is Garmin going to ever correct this in there Garmin connect app? Is this widget even showinge the correct data for cycling? I haveany questions regarding this and spend way to much money on your computers for this not to be fixed.

  • Moved thread from German language to English language forum.

  • Can you upload a screenshot? My widget shows both, though the skiing number is blank. The cycling number is correct though.

I do not think so, guessing from the feedback I had. However, since it has no impact on other metrics, I would not bother about it much.

No, for cycling FTP you need a powermeter.

I DO use a PM and the cycling FTP widget shows the correct value. It's just that it also shows a blank Skiing FTP too. That doesn't seem to have any effect, to me it just looks "untidy" to show a data field that has never been populated and is of no use to me Wink

I know, but unfortunately it looks like Garmin is not going to do anything about it. They tell it is by design, and that it represents the estimated FTP (when filled in) in case you once decide doing BC Skiing Wink Regardless, it poses no real problem, since it has no impact on your other metrics.
