For a few weeks now, I’ve noticed something odd in the group activity feed of the Garmin Connect app (mobile only – the web version works fine):
Most preview maps are wrong – they often show the map from a completely different activity in the same feed.
When I open an activity, the correct map is shown. But in the feed view, it's clearly off.
Here’s what I’m seeing in one of my groups (activity #1 is the newest):

The map from activity #1 shows up in #1, but also in #7, #13, #19, #25, ...

Activity #2 has no map (probably due to privacy settings).

The map from activity #3 shows up in #3, and also in #9, #15, #21, #27, ...

#4’s map appears in #4, #10, #16, #22, #28

#5’s map in #5, #11, #17, #23, #29

#6’s map in #6, #12, #18, #24, #30

Activity #7 does not show its own map – instead, it repeats map #1

Map from activity #8 is shown correctly in #8, and again in #14, #20, #26, #32 …
So the map previews repeat every 6 activities – looks like a bug in how the app assigns the preview images. The only reason map #8 is showing at all is because activity #2 has no map.
Is anyone else seeing this? Has it already been reported to Garmin?
Thankfully, it’s just reusing maps from the same feed – but if it ever pulled maps from completely unrelated activities, that would be a serious privacy issue.
