Just came over from Fitbit and Samsung (yes both). I have the venu 3 which is supposed to be health and wellness focused watch. The widget only tells you which cycle day you're on and in which phase. That's kinda helpful-ish, but not amazing. Then in the Connect app you only see the same thing, while the calendar would be so much more useful. There's no chart with your temperatures in this section, to see that you need to go to health stats, sleep, put it to 4 weeks and then tap skin temp changes. Which you can only view in combination with your sleep scores.
Please contact the people over at Fertility Friend. That's by far the most accurate and informative period tracker / fertility charting app out there. A collaboration of Fertility Friend and Garmin would be amazing, imagine all the insights that would bring.
But even if you're gonna pass on that chance, please improve upon your menstrual cycle tracking. I got a notice that skin temps are now being used for cycle predictions. But other than that, I don't see a change in the app. If you are using that data, show us *how* you're using it: please give us a graph that ties temps to the menstrual cycle and not to sleep.
Also, please use the data on the cycle phases for the body battery function and the recovery score. The menstrual cycle affects many women greatly and it's insane to pretend it doesn't matter for our energy levels etc. It would be great if we could graph different data together, so we can check if we, for example, run faster during a certain phase, or have a different hrv during another, etc. The cycle tracking is way to separate from everything else. Most notably skin temps, but also the other data.
