different display for between mine and my wifes device

Hi all,

my wifes breathe display is completely different to mine in the app.
My wife is using a Fenix 7S, i am on a Fenix 6X pro

This is how it look in both garmin connect apps. Left is mine, right the one on my wifes device:

Is this simply a different way of displaying data? I do not have the "high/low frequency" also.
Both are set to 1day / today. It is only different for "today". Switching to 7 days of four weeks equals the views for both.

My display did not change for years, but the display in my wifes app changed a few months ago.
Both devices are showing V5.12.1 as App version. Is this coming from an FW update on my wifes watch?

The display on Connect Android, using data from my Fenix 7S Pro looks the same as your wifes.

Looking back through previous data I've not seen any change in averages. For each 4 week block, it's typically…

What do you see on the web version of GC web at https://connect.garmin.com/modern/respiration/2025-05-11 ? Are the ranges included there or also not? Do both of your phones use the same OS, or is one of them an iPhone, and the other one an Android phone? I use both types of phones, and see the ranges only on the Android device. However, in my case, the iOS version of GC is an outdated v5.1.0.21 (the last that supported my my old iPhone), so I do not know whether newer iOS versions do show the ranges or not. The web version of GC shows the respiratory ranges for both accounts.

The web view look the same. And we both are using Android devices.
The range is visible for my wife, but not for me, i only have the turkis line, same as in the app. I've tested it on my laptop with the same browser logged in one after the other.

The only difference (beside the different watch) is a different Android version. Mine is newer.

Her view changed some months ago on the same smartphone she's using since years

If you see the same graph on the web as on the app, then I guess the difference probably comes from the watch you use.

I have an epix (Gen 2), which uses the same firmware as a Fenix 7.

Respiration is displayed similar to your wife's Fenix 7.

Thanks, at least that confirms the change on a certain number of devices.

But it does not explain the immediate jump of her breathing. It went up from 12-13 in average to 18-19 directly with the change.

Any idea on that?

You need to switch to single day, only there it is visible, not on 7 days or four weeks

The change seem to be happened on Feb 18/19.

Until that day, my wife's display in Garmin Connect was the same as mine, not the new one. And on that day, the respiration value went up from 12-13 to 18-19 on a single day

Like I said, my averages have stayed the same over that period. No sudden jump.
