My partner and I have the exact same Garmin watch. When we take our walks our distances are different by 2/10 of a mile. We're both taking the exact same route with minimal deviance in steps. How can this be corrected?

2/10th of a mile over how long a walk?
Are you both using the connected GPS?
Short walk. His Garmin showed 1.66 and mine was 1.46. Started and stopped at the same time, both connected to GPS.
