Activity speed data not shown - black line

Which phone do you have? It is drawing the pace line but it isn't drawing the colors. I think it is a device issue.

It looks good on my Pixel 6 Pro so it isn't a general error.

Pixel 5. Looked fine on this device for over a year before it changed one day after the app updated. Pixel 3 before that.

I am now having the same issue on a new Samsung Galaxy S25+. Worked before on a different phone. It's also only showing a blank map in the activity overview, when I open the map, it shows the black track line.

I just went through my device and toggled every display-related setting (dark mode, contrast, live display, refresh rate, etc) with no change.

I also cleared all app data and signed back in. No change. I then changed all display settings in the app. No change.

Support won't respond to my emails, linking me here instead. Real helpful support forum, run wholly by users, with no official presence... Yay.

It's working fine for me using Android 15 on Pixel 8 Pro.

Does it look any different if you change the Data Overlay to HR, Elevation etc?

No change when switching overlay source.

I am having the same issue on my Pixel 9 Pro running GrapheneOS. Not sure when this started. Pretty sure I have had the colourful line before... 

My friend can generate this track picture with his Garmin Watch.
How can I generate these colors with my Fenix 6 please?

(I do foildriving (riding a motorized foil board and riding waves with it) on the water and play around with Surfing and Windsports as sport)

When you look at your own activities do you see the colour key at the bottom of the map?

The colours are dependent on speed. Do your speeds vary enough to show the range of colours?
