Sync between Forerunner 55 and Runkeeper

Hi, I am a new Garmin user. Yesterday I bought the Garmin Forerunner 55 and on my mobile I use the Runkeeper app. I did sync the watch with the app. My question is, when I have finished my run and push stop on the watch, do I need to manually sinc the run from the watch to the app or is this done automatically ? Thanks.

It will sync automatically by default, but it can be turned off or stopped. If you haven't done anything to prevent it or force closed the Garmin Connect app it will work.

The watch can only sync with Garmin Connect. The activities in Garmin Connect will then automatically sync to apps you've connected with Garmin Connect.

Hi e7andy, thanks for clarifying, very usefull. Tomorrow I have a 9 mile run so will use it for the first time, should be okay now. Regards, Martin.
