Seriously.
Active Intelligence is nothing more than "Insights" was before.
There is no valuable information presented. It just repeats data that is there anyhow.
I will end subscription before I have to pay.

dcrainmaker makes a valid comparison in his newest podcast: Active intelligence is like make a screenshot of your newest training data and send it to chatgpt.
And I'm adding: it's missing all the possibility…
This works out more expensive than what Strava did, by hiding the features behind the paywall.
At least with Strava, you only require that what you already own, your mobile phone.
After spending 1000's…
Yes, go to Reddit an you will see, all Users are very pissed off. Garmin had also removed my posting!

Garmin moved that comment before to make it less visible
Hi Peter, I'm a volunteer moderator. I joined it to the ongoing thread in the Garmin Connect Web forum in order to keep the discussion focused. It's also where we place threads that are related to all 3 subforums (web, iOS app, and android app). If you prefer, I'll keep this one here for you.

seilogramp Thank you for the ongoing efforts to keep threads organized.
Heilrath We have locked threads on this topic when they have violated our Terms of Use, have created extra moderation work due to the content of users' posts, or have gotten off-topic with the discussion turning into posts insulting one another and no longer discussing the original topic. These are the same guidelines we use across all Forums.
We understand that Garmin Connect+ will not be for everyone, which is why we have extended a trial period for users to form their own opinion, and this is also an optional set of features that are additive, as no existing features are removed or moved to this subscription tier.
Information on cancelling a subscription can be found here.
"will not be for everyone" is deliberately masking that it's a real quality issue.
There is so much that could be done with AI and training software, but all Garmin does is using AI to simply rephrase existing data.
That's not a "will not be for everyone" discussion. It's a discussion about what Garmin could do to move forward and what it simply doesn't do.

And I'm adding: it's missing all the possibility to put training data in a bigger context. How does it relate to my racing goal later the year? What should be corrected, looking at what I want to achieve?
That would be useful.
I've just got the "invitation" to join + some minutes ago
Hope Garmin is not thinking to put a subscription model and take away from us all the data from the connect app.
I have been very tired with all the late issues in edge 1040 solar, in venu2, I had two vivoactive that had to be trashed after a year of use as "there was nothing to be done" by garmin support. I even got sold on a tacx neo, they said there was no subscription for the app, lying to me.
Here in argentina each device costs 150%-200% more than in US, a 1040 solar is 1000USD
looks like they are going for the all abusive model. I won't tolerate this anymore.

After spending 1000's between Edge head units and Fenix watches, this should be free from point of purchase.
