how to delete garmin mobile app

downloaded Garmin connect mobile app to my android phone. It wouldn't connect with my Edge 830. I tried repeatedly, tried every solution. Deleted the app from my one. Sine then the Edge will no longer update to Garmin connect web. The Garmin connect webpage now displays an error notice. How to I permanently sever the link between the (now deleted) mobile app and my edge 830 and Garmin connect web?

Did you remove the Edge from bluetooth devices on the phone before you tried to add it to Garmin Connect?

Exactly what are you trying to do? If the app is deleted on the phone then it is deleted. The Edge is still added to your Garmin account. It is unrelated to the app. The app is never connected to Garmin Connect Web. Both the app and the web are viewers on the data stored in Garmin servers.

I simply want the edge 830 to update to Garmin connect web via my router automatically. It used to this100% reliably until I got the mobile app, Now the edge has stopped doing the auto upload. To send the edge ride data I now have to connect to the laptop via a USB. How do I restore the original Edge 830 auto save function to the router?

Wifi settings have been checked, the Edge 830 shows my home network. It still refuses to automatically send ride data to Garmin connect web via my router. This garmin device no longer communicates with the web via my wi fi . How to perform a hard reset?
