How hard can it be to handle the change of clocks twice a year? This is not an unknown event.

Yes, I do understand that, but there must be a solution that is better than showing events at the wrong time throughout almost the whole day. Just pad the day out to 25 hours or chop it to 23 hours as appropriate.
I imagine few will be troubled by some funny goings on between 01:00 and 02:00. Better than having the whole waking day being an hour out of whack.
But, sure, it's a bit trivial and easily understood. Even so, can it take not be handled better?
