I'm currently running a 5k training plan with Coach Greg, and no matter what I do to tell the system I want long runs on a Sunday it will schedule them for a Thursday. But, if I try to reschedule the run either by hitting the reschedule button on the plan, or selecting a different workout on the watch, it will readjust everything for the week.
For example, on Saturday this week it has me doing goal pace repeats on Saturday, and a 30 minute easy pace run on the Sunday. It makes more sense for me to do the the easy pace run on the Saturday and incorporate it into my usual parkrun, and then try the goal pace repeats on the Sunday. But if I do the easy pace run on the Saturday instead the goal pace repeats will be lost and not rescheduled at all. I've had this issue over the past few weeks and as result I have done no speedwork type training on this plan yet, despite being 6 weeks into it.
So, as per the title, is there a way to swap around individual workout sessions without it deleting the originally planned workout from the schedule altogether?
