Hi, I have an Edge 830 and an old but perfectly working 920XT watch.My training load on the Garmin app on my samsung phone only considers my spins and doesn't include runs at all.Is there a way to make it use both?

Forerunner 920XT doesn't support training load so it isn't calculated for your runs.
